Rates

To ensure the bills aren't open-ended, I will always estimate for a project in advance and state clearly what is included and what is not. I will send you a copy of my terms of engagement, including payment terms, before I begin work. Once you have acknowledged that you have read and accepted the terms, I will begin work. I may ask you for a deposit if I haven't worked for you before.

Certain projects can be quoted, rather than estimated. These include case studies and press releases. I will provide you with a specification for the work involved in producing them. In the unlikely event that extra work is needed (usually due to circumstances beyond my control, such as issues with your clients or other third parties), I will secure your authorisation for the additional cost before proceeding any further.

Extra Items that will not usually be covered by an estimate or quotation
include:

• Travel expenses
• Additional work beyond the original brief and any rush charges that require evening or weekend work
• Out-of-pocket and subsistence expenses if working away from base on your instructions
• Additional meetings beyond the original brief

My hourly and daily rates are highly affordable and I will always try and tailor them to your budget, whatever the size of your business or organisation, as well as the type of work you want done.
