I have been working in marketing services and communications since 1985 and have acquired skills and experience in all kinds of communications activities. Writing is the thread that runs throughout my career, however. This began with my role as a marketing assistant with the residential division of Honeywell Control Systems, when I won a Honeywell authorship award for writing an article that was published in Heating & Plumbing Monthly!
My career has included several roles at marketing communications manager and PR manager level, as well as an agency-side role with pan-European high-tech PR agency Hartmann & Lotz, when I managed up to eight accounts and a team of three execs and assistants. In addition, I ran my own PR consultancy - two one communications ltd - for five years.
